Shukubō

Shukubō (宿坊) are ryokan-style pay rooms made available by a temple. This style of accommodation is developed under the Heian era. It is the ancestor of the ryokan.
You must book in advance. Generally, you book a night with 2 meals (dinner and breakfast) but it’s possible to book a room only.
Meals are usually served early (18h- 18h30)
