The yakushi-dō (薬師堂) is a temple hall dedicated to Yakushi Nyorai, the Buddha of Healing. In Shikoku pilgrimage temples, it is often a secondary hall, though some temples across Japan are entirely dedicated to him, such as famous Yakushi-ji (薬師寺) in Nara.
