The Daishi-dō (大師堂) is a small hall (dō) reserved for the Great Master (Daishi). Among the 88 temples of the Shikoku pilgrimage, most are dedicated to Kōbō Daishi.

One sometimes encounters Daishidō along the trail; some can serve as tsuyadō (free lodging).
